About this formula

Iodine is one of those minerals that most people are chronically low in and most doctors aren't looking for. Every cell in your body needs it, your thyroid is particularly dependent on it, and modern diets - especially those low in seafood and iodised salt - often don't deliver enough.

Lugol's is the classic formulation - iodine and potassium iodide combined. The combination is important: the two forms work differently in the body, with different tissues preferentially taking up each one.

I offer this in concentrations from 2% to 20% because different people need different things. Those just starting out typically use lower concentrations; more experienced users working with a specific protocol sometimes need higher. If you're new to iodine supplementation, start low and go slow.

Stored in a dark amber glass bottle with a dropper. Do not apply undiluted to skin at higher concentrations.
