Healing Eye Drops
About this formula
I'll be honest with you - when I first looked at the ingredient list on these, I had questions too. Cayenne? In eye drops? But this is a very old formula with a long track record, and once you understand what each herb actually does, it makes a lot of sense.
Eyebright is the obvious one - it's been used for eye health for literally centuries. Goldenseal and bayberry are antimicrobial and astringent. Red raspberry leaf is soothing. And cayenne - in tiny, diluted amounts - promotes circulation. More blood flow to the eye tissues means more of the good stuff getting where it needs to go.
The alcohol base (30-40%) acts as a preservative and extraction medium. When diluted in an eye cup with warm water, it becomes very mild.
How to use it: Most people use an eye cup (we recommend one cup per eye). Add a few drops to warm water, bathe each eye for 20-30 seconds. Or if you're brave, one drop directly to each eye twice daily.
I recommend this to everyone - not just people with eye concerns. Preventative eye care is massively underrated.
