Wild Yam & Pueraria Hormonal Support Balm
About this formula
Hormonal transitions ask a lot of the body, and most days that goes unacknowledged. This balm exists to change that: a rich, herbal formula meant to be part of the quiet minute you take for yourself, whether that's first thing in the morning or the last thing before bed. It is not a quick fix in a jar. It is a return to the kind of deliberate, traditional botanical care women relied on long before self-care became a marketing word, formulated specifically for this stage of life and made to feel as rich and considered as it smells.
Not recommended if pregnant, nursing, or trying to conceive. Contains DMSO. See Safety & Precautions below before use.

Ingredients & Sourcing
Wild Yam Root, Black Cohosh Root, and Fennel Seed are infused into Olive Oil as the base of this formula. Pueraria Mirifica is added as a standalone standardized extract, since it has the most direct evidence for topical use of the botanicals in this formula. The balm base is Grass-Fed Tallow, Shea Butter, and Beeswax, finished with Vitamin E Oil and Clary Sage, Frankincense, and Rose Geranium Essential Oils. This balm also contains Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO).
Traditional Use & Herbal Background
Wild yam root has a long history of use in herbal preparations and is a common base ingredient in topical women's-wellness formulas. Black cohosh, native to North America, has likewise been used for generations in tinctures and topical blends. Pueraria mirifica, a root native to Southeast Asia, has the most direct evidence for topical use of the botanicals in this formula, which is why it's included as a standalone standardized extract rather than only infused. Clary sage, frankincense, and rose geranium are traditional aromatic additions valued for their scent and skin feel.
Quality & Testing
Formulated with pharmaceutical/USP-grade DMSO, the same purity standard used in professional and clinical settings, well above the industrial-grade DMSO sold for solvent or cleaning use.
Safety & Precautions

- Talk to your healthcare provider before use if you take any prescription medication, including hormonal birth control or HRT
